LEADING EDGE WARRANTIES
Leading Edge Auto Body is proud to provide this LIMITED WARRANTY relating to the repair of your vehicle as an example of our commitment to continued customer satisfaction. This LIMITED WARRANTY is valid at any Leading Edge Auto Body location as long as you own the vehicle stated herein. This LIMITED WARRANTY is not transferable and is subject to the Terms and Conditions described below:
1. METALWORK: Leading Edge Auto Body provides a LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY to include welding and the application of materials utilized in making collision repairs against cracking, flaking, pitting or deterioration, excluding rust repairs. This shop will repair or repaint, excluding rust repairs, any metalwork warranted hereby, when claim is made by the present owner stated herein, unless caused by, or damaged resulting from, a new collision, unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle.
2. PAINTING, STRIPES, AND DECALS: Leading Edge Auto Body provides a LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY on painting-related priming and painting work against solvent blistering, peeling, cracking, checking and excessive loss of pigmentation, and an ONE(1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY on the application and adhesion of decorative stripes and decals. The shop will repair/repaint when a claim is made for painting and ONE (1) YEAR for decals unless caused by or damaged resulting from a new collision, unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of a vehicle. Paint Warranty is valid only over original finishes that are free of defect.
3. Leading Edge Auto Body provides a Two (2) years /24,000 mile Limited Warranty on all mechanical repairs pertaining to the original specific repair. The Shop will Re-Repair any mechanical assembly or component warranted hereby excluding wear items including but not limited to: brake pads, brake rotors, belts, hoses, tires, and manual transmission clutches, when made within Two(2) years or 24,000 miles (whichever comes first) of the effective date, unless caused by or damaged resulting from a new collision, unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle.
This warranty shall be null and void if the repair is altered, adjusted, or tampered with by any person not authorized by Leading Edge Auto Body. This warranty is not transferable under any circumstances.
Specifically excluded are incidental costs such as towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses etc. as well as damages resulting from a defective part or installation that are not covered by this warranty.
This States all the warranties made by Leading Edge Auto Body and contains the only promises for which it shall be responsible.
4. PARTS: Leading Edge Auto Body provides a TWELVE (12) MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY on new and used parts. The shop will repair or replace any defective part warranted hereby when a claim is made within TWELVE (12) MONTHS of the effective date stated herein unless caused by damage resulting from a new collision, unreasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle.
SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED are incidental costs, such as towing fees, car rental charges, travel expenses, or assemblies or components which are not specifically covered by this LIMITED WARRANTY, or consequential damages resulting from a defective part or installation of such part installed or repaired during the repair.
Mechanical Warranty
24 months or 24,000 miles
whichever comes first. Includes parts and Labor.
